Parking area with good conditions for a dozen of motor- caravans, Shadow trees. The zone to empty chemicals and soapy waters and fill tanks, might prove a bit difficult to operate bigger vehicles. Ask for assistance, gladly will be given. Down the road at about 1 mile, Ocean Atlantic and many miles of sandy beaches. Melides lagoon is there. Important: The use of the service area doesn't imply to stay at the camping park.

ATENTION : The mentioned places are not exclusively dedicated to motor-caravans. They are locals where usually we found motor-caravans on an occasional stoppage. For these places we recommend a special attention and a scrupolous behaviour in compliance with the comportamental rules expected from a good practicioner of the open air life (see the «gold rules»).

Em terra batida pelo que no verão e fins de semana é um pouco desagradável. Muitas viaturas durante no verão, durante o dia.

Near the sea. Has the inconvenience of a dusty ground, which in summer, at the crowded week-ends together with windy gusts, might be somehow, unconfortable.

Um local muito agradável, com uma pequena ilha em frente, a Ilha do Pessegueiro, que se pode visitar de barco. Ficou famosa através de uma canção de Rui Veloso.

Very appealing place, small island in front, reachable even with a rowing boat. Turned famous due to a song created by a very popular portuguese singer.

Pego do Altar - Alcácer do Sal

Zona de estacionamento junto à Barragem. Seguir de Alcácer do Sal em direcção a Montemor-o-Novo. Percorrer cerca de 10Km até encontrar a indicação da Barragem Pego do Altar.

Parking zone close to the Dam. Follow Alcácer do Sal direction Montemor o Novo. Drive for around 10 Kms until you find signs to Pêgo do Altar - Barragem (dam).
